A reminder about DBS Portal security

& your legal responsibilities

Continuing our video lessons on the DBS system, this week’s video is a reminder that your individual DBS Portal login is for your use only and must never be shared. Each user ID acts as a unique digital signature, confirming that you have personally checked and are satisfied with the ID documentation submitted.

If any issues ever arise with ID verification, the DBS will assume that the person logged in under that user ID was the one who carried out the checks. This is why it’s essential to keep your login details secure and ensure they are not used by others.
